About Us
In 1986, the Sabater family founded Trans Sabater in Ribarroja del Turia with a clear vision: to manage industrial waste in the Valencian Community efficiently and responsibly. What began with a fleet of lorries and the conviction that waste is not a problem but an opportunity laid the foundations for what is now Grupo Sabater.
Over four decades, we have grown to become leaders in the comprehensive management and recovery of post-industrial and post-consumer waste. The name change reflects this evolution: from Trans Sabater, a transport and collection company, to Grupo Sabater, a multidisciplinary organisation with its own treatment, recycling and process innovation capabilities. The same family commitment as always, with today’s technology and scope.
Today we manage waste that others cannot process, produce high-quality secondary raw materials and develop patented processes that place Grupo Sabater at the forefront of the circular economy in Spain. Guided by ESG principles and respect for the environment—which has always been our guiding star—we continue to build on the same vision that began over 40 years ago: giving every piece of waste a second life.
